Fiesta Bay Boardwalk

Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Tucked away behind Rockville, Fiesta Bay Boardwalk is a lively part of the park that offers plenty of family friendly attractions for everyone to enjoy! The theming is charming, although not too in-your-face, and the ride wait times don't seem to get particularly long except for super busy days.

With the exception of Sling Shot, and maybe Fireball, the rides at Fiesta Bay Boardwalk are great for the whole family to enjoy. They're not too thrilling but not incredibly boring either. The Crow's Nest ferris wheel is a classic ride with great views of the rest of the park. Pandemonium is a light family coaster with a decently long ride time. Pirates of the deep sea is one of the few indoor dark rides Six Flags Fiesta offers, and it's a pretty decent ride, although the figures are a little outdated.

Johnny Rockets and Fireball Snacks are the only food options available in this land, but they're pretty great options anyway. Johnny Rockets serves up reliably great hamburgers and shakes, while Fireball Snacks offers alcoholic drinks and pretzels. What more do you need for a fun day at the boardwalk?

Top 3 Things to do in Fiesta Bay Boardwalk

No 1 Icon
Ride Pandemonium
It's a rotating coaster. What's not to love? Just be sure not to eat right before getting in this line for this one!
No 2 Icon
Ride the Crow's Nest Ferris Wheel
Take a load off your feet and relax for a while as you soak in the views of the rest of the park (and surrounding area) on this classic ride.
No 3 Icon
Race through the Thunder Beach Speedway
It costs extra, since the speedway isn't included with your park ticket, but that makes the track more exclusive. This is especially fun if you have a big group with you and you're looking for a friendly competition!

Food & Drinks

Fireball Snacks
Snacks & Drinks
Price: $5 - $10
You're at the boardwalk, so you may as well grab a drink and a snack and enjoy the sunshine! The churros and pretzels here are just fine, and the drinks are great for keeping you hydrated. There's also usually never a long line.
Johnny Rockets Express
Burgers, Shakes & Fries
Price: $10 - $15
There's nothing like digging into a comforting burger and a thick shake while you're at a Six Flags park, and the best burgers and shakes can be found at the Johnny Rockets Express locations. This location has much less shade than the other location (in DC Universe), but it also has a nicer view than the other location.

Rides & Attractions

INTENSITY LEVELS

Relaxing (Slow with Little or No Elevation Changes) | Mild (Slow to Moderately Fast with Potentially Higher Elevation)

Thrilling (Fast with Potential High Elevations & Loops) | Wild (Intense Speeds, Extreme Heights, and/or Loops)
Crow's Nest
Height: 42" alone | under 42" w/adult
Intensity Level: Relaxing
It's a ferris wheel on a boardwalk. What's not to love? Okay, perhaps it's not a real boardwalk, but you can still get some great views of the rest of the park, and you can bring the whole family with you on this one!
Fireball
Height: 48"
Intensity Level: Thrilling
It's not a wild ride, since it essentially doesn't go anywhere, but this fun circle can still make your head spin a little when it whirls you round and round. After (not before) your ride, you can get yourself a nice treat at Fireball Snacks as a reward!
Hurricane Force 5
Height: 48"
Intensity Level: Thrilling
This is another ride that spins while it swings, although it's much lower to the ground than the more exciting Carnival of Chaos ride in DC Universe. If you like the swaying/spinning motion, you'll enjoy this ride quite a bit. It's also a great starter ride to see if you're able to handle the much more intense Carnival of Chaos.
Pandemonium
Height: 47" alone | under 42" w/adult
Intensity Level: Thrilling
This is a pretty mild coaster, with no loops or deep dives. They make it a little more thrilling by having the ride vehicles spin as you coast along the tracks, which is a nice touch. This one is great for the whole family, since it's mild but not too boring.
Pirates of the Deep Sea
Height: N/A
Intensity Level: Relaxing
The ride itself is interesting and charming, but not particularly exciting. If anything, you can enjoy the queue area as you walk through and spend a bit of time in the A/C while you're in line and on the ride!
Sheriff's Office
Height: N/A
Intensity Level: N/A
This attraction offers a nifty souvenir you can get of a wanted poster... of yourself and/or your family! It costs a little extra, but it makes for a nice photo to put on the fridge when you get back home.
Slingshot
Height: 44"
Intensity Level: Wild
For all the adrenaline junkies out there, this ride was made for you. You're on your own (or you can bring 1 person as well) in a harness-type suit, so there won't be any screaming riders with you to enjoy. The ride propels you over 200 feet into the air and then bounces for a bit as it settles you back down. This ride also costs a little extra, so just keep that in mind if you're looking to enjoy this thrill ride during your visit.
Spinsanity
Height: 44" alone | under 36" w/adult
Intensity Level: Mild
Spinsanity is a fun little ride that send you spinning but not in the teacup kind of way. Each car seats up to two riders and bar comes down to secure you. You'll spin in your own spot but also venture over bumps and hills whilst going forward so watch your things!
Thunder Beach Speedway
Height: 58" alone | under 42" w/adult
Intensity Level: Mild
For $20.49 you can enjoy an all-day go-kart pass at the Thunder Beach Speedway. Riders can choose from a single car or a single plus sidekick car. Race down the winding track by making sharp turns and overpassing others to win! Lines are minimal due to this attraction being an extra fee.
Wave Runner
Height: 42" alone | under 36" w/adult
Intensity Level: Mild
Wave Runner takes you round and round with sizeable momentum. Riders will feel like fruit in a blender as you press to the side of your ride car. On top of that, you'll feel disoriented from the ride unit itself tossing you to and fro so be wary!
