Knott's Berry Farm Food and Drinks

Knott's Berry Farm
Like many theme parks, Knott's Berry Farm has some fantastic eateries and some pretty average restaurants. Thankfully, there's more to like than not. The restaurants at this theme park excel in barbecue dishes, boysenberry-flavored items, and unique options like donut burgers and loaded tater tots.

There are plenty of locations in the park that serve up typical burger and chicken fingers, but they're mostly mediocre in quality. They're solid if you really just want something plain and classic, or if your kids refuse to eat anything else.

For the more adventurous, however, head to Boardwalk for a donut burger and a boysenberry shake or Papa Loca in Fiesta Village for loaded fries. The boysenberry corn dog is also an interesting choice at Strictly-On-A-Stick. Seasonal specials also appear at Wilderness Broiler and during festivals throughout the year, so be on the lookout for those.

Of course, the barbecue at Knott's Berry Farm is also not to be missed! Head to Fireman's BBQ for the best ribs or beef sandwich you can find at the park. If you're feeling something a little more healthy, the salmon salad at Coaster's Diner is a solid choice.

Regardless of what you enjoy eating, there's definitely something you'll enjoy at this theme park. For the financially conscious, the serving sizes are definitely large enough to share, so go ahead and split those meals to save yourself some dough. Better yet, get the all-day dining pass for about $32 and eat all day (every 90 minutes) without having to worry about pulling out your wallet each time!

Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant
Without even needing a theme park ticket, you can enjoy this fantastic restaurant that started it all! It truly is the best place to eat at Knott's Berry Farm, so the wait can be a bit long. We recommend making reservations a day or two ahead.

Boardwalk BBQ
Boardwalk BBQ has some of the most consistent, homey food in the park. It's not our favorite BBQ, but the sides are fantastic (try all the mac 'n' cheeses!) and the meatballs and beef are delicious. The covered outdoor seating is also great for people-watching.

Ghost Town Grill
Although a little under the radar and sometimes a little difficult to actually dine at, this sit-down restaurant in Knott's Berry Farm is a fantastic place to go for a great meal and an outdoor seat for people-watching. Be sure to check out their desserts as well!

This quick-service restaurant features handmade churros that can be stuffed with boysenberries, strawberries, or Bavarian cream (our favorite option). There's nothing like enjoying ice cream at a theme park, especially during those hot California summers. Strictly-On-A-Stick
Corn Dogs & Fried Cheese
Price: $10 - $15
This cute little quick-service window serves up hand-dipped corn dogs or fried cheese on a stick. They're great for quick lunches or a snack between rides. The shoestring fries here also make for a great snack on their own. We recommend trying the Boysenberry Corn Dog, which features a hot dog surrounded in soft, boysenberry cornbread. Lines here tend to get long in the middle of the day, so we recommend checking it out early in the morning or later toward the evening.
Located in Ghost TownView Menu
Sutter's Funnel Cake
Funnel Cakes
Price: $10 - $15
Sutter's Funnel Cake is usually the busiest of the funnel cake locations in Knott's Berry Farm, due to its proximity to many other great eateries like Sutter's Grill and Calico Tater Bites. It is one of the most convenient places to grab a funnel cake dessert if you are eating at one of the other restaurants nearby, but we recommend splitting your party (if you can) and having at least one person wait in line here while the rest get the main meal. It'll significantly cut down your waiting time! Alternatively, you can try Ghost Town Grub, which is just around the corner and serves up the same exact menu.

Pizza

Right around the corner, just a few feet from Sutter's Grill, is Sutter's Pizza. This quick-service eatery offers pizza by the slice or whole pizzas for families. The line for this eatery tends to move fairly quickly, since the pizzas are already made, however it can still be a long line.

Wagon Wheel Pizza
Pizza
Price: $5 - $25
Located at the very end of the Ghost Town walkway, by the exit to GhostRider, is Wagon Wheel Pizza. It serves up simple pizza by the slice or by the whole pie. Slices also come with a simple side salad. It's not a very popular location, mostly due to its distance from everything else in the park. It's also open seasonally, so it's not always available. We recommend only coming here if you're craving pizza and Sutter's Pizza is busy.

Wilderness Broiler
Burgers & Chicken Sandwiches
Price: $5 - $15
This quick-service restaurant is located by Pony Express and is a bit of an outpost for burgers and chicken sandwiches. Although the menu is pretty limited, this eatery tends to have shorter lines than other locations, so it's a great option if you don't mind simple burgers and chicken sandwiches. They also do offer limited-time menu options throughout the year, so you can always check those out as well!

Boardwalk BBQ
BBQ & Southern Food
Price: $10 - $20
Our favorite restaurant at Knott's Berry Farm, this restaurant serves up tasty BBQ options with a bunch of options for sides. The food is served cafeteria-style, which means you go through and pick out which food you like while a server plates it on the other side of the counter. The lines move pretty quickly because of this system, so don't be discouraged if you see a line out the door. The outdoor seating at this restaurant is great for people-watching and just being able to enjoy the general atmosphere of Boardwalk. The serving sizes are large, so they're great for sharing. This restaurant is also included in the dining plan, which makes it an even better value! It's just a great overall place to eat during your time in the park.

Charleston Circle Coffee
Coffee & Snacks
Price: $5 - $10
If you just want a cup o' Joe while you're trekking through the park, Charleston Circle Coffee is your best bet. The line can get a bit long, but it tends to move quickly. The coffee is pretty solid, since it serves Starbucks coffee. They have a unique Boysenberry Latte that's definitely worth a try. The pastries they serve are fresh and relatively cheap as well.

Coaster's Diner
Burgers & Shakes
Price: $10 - $20
This charming 50's-themed diner is the place to go for creative burgers, classic chicken tenders, and thick shakes at Knott's Berry Farm. Their seasonal milkshakes are always worth a gander (our favorite is the classic Boysenberry Shake) and the burgers are the best in the park. Look out for limited edition food as well, such as the Ode to Cordelia burger which features 2 donuts as the buns on a chicken burger. There's also the Xcelerator burger, which has a 12" patty!

It features build-your-own pastas, pizza, calzones, salads, and an assortment of dessert treats including cookies, cakes, tiramisu, and more! The restaurant is clean and sleek, with covered outdoor seating in the back. Since it is new, it tends to be pretty busy, and seating can be difficult to find. The food is pretty solid, however -especially the desserts!

Johnny Rockets
Burgers & Shakes
Price: $10 - $15
Johnny Rockets is Johnny Rockets. It's a classic theme park eatery that focuses on burgers, fries, and shakes. The food quality is consistent and decent, and it can be a rather nostalgic experience. It's what we call an oldie but a goodie.
Located in Boardwalk
Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restuarant
Chicken, Comfort Food
Price: $20 - $35
This is the restaurant that started it all! Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant is the best restaurant at Knott's Berry Farm. It's located just outside the theme park entrance, which means you don't even need a park ticket to enjoy a meal here. The Fried Chicken, Chicken Pot Pie, and Chicken Fried Steak are some of our favorites here. Don't miss out on dessert though! Their Boysenberry Pie a La Mode is one of the best desserts you can get at Knott's Berry Farm.
