Knott's Berry Farm Upcoming Events

Knott's Merry Farm: November 18 - January 1, 2023

Boysenberry Festival

One of Knott's Berry Farm's most popular events, the Boysenberry Festival celebrates the berry that started it all so long ago! During this charming spring-time festival, guests can enjoy dozens upon dozens of boysenberry-flavored food items from drinks to meatballs to pie and more. Local craft vendors will also be at the park daily, allowing guests to see some unique merchandise created right in Southern California. Of course, Knott's Berry Farm festivals aren't complete without entertainment, so the theme park has plenty of shows and performances scheduled throughout the festival season for guests to enjoy.

Although this festival is one of our favorites to attend (mostly for the delicious food!), it does draw some big crowds. We recommend attending during a week day to avoid long waits at the food stalls and rides. We also recommend picking up a tasting card, which allows you to taste 6 specialty food items from the festival for $50! Although that's by no means a cheap price, you can save quite a bit if you opt to use it on the more pricier options at the food booths.
Things to Look Forward To:
Dozens of Boysenberry-themed Food Items
Snoopy's Boysenberry Jamboree! (Show)
Craft Fair with Local Craft Vendors
History of the Boysenberry (Exhibit)
Knott's Totally Tubular '80s Dance Party
Boysenberry Blues (Performance)
Riverboat Revenge (Show)
& So Much More!

Summer at Knott's

Summer at Knott's Berry Farm is more like a vibe rather than an actual festival. It's still worth checking out, especially since it's so hard to miss with dates that last through all of summer. In essence, the theme park adds some additional evening entertainment after the sun goes down, and they light up the park in some spectacular lighting. There are also a few specialty summer time food items that are available, so that's a nice little bonus. The event itself is pretty casual, since Knott's Berry Farm doesn't really need to draw in crowds during their already busy summer months. It's more like an added cherry on top for those who like to stay out a little later to avoid the sun!
Things to Look Forward To:
Live Music & DJ's Every Evening
Special Summertime Food Items

Knott's Scary Farm

Knott's Scary Farm is one of the most popular Halloween events in Southern California and draws massive crowds every year. The theme park is turned into a frightful experience for guests, with special entertainment, the addition of haunted houses/mazes, and special decor to terrify the senses. It's not recommended for children under the age of 13, but they won't turn away younger guests who are brave enough to go.

This event is only held on select dates between September 22 and October 31, so you'll want to check your calendar to make sure you go to the park on those dates. A special event ticket is also required to attend (passes do not include tickets to this event). The theme park does get pretty crowded during the Knott's Scary Farm days, so be prepared for longer waits while you enjoy this popular Knott's Berry Farm event!
Things to Look Forward To:
Haunted Mazes
Sinister Shows
Spooky Decor
More than 1,000 Creatures Lurking in Fog

Knott's Spooky Farm

For those who enjoy the Halloween season but don't necessarily like to step too deep into frightening waters, the Knott's Spooky Farm festival is ideal. It's celebrated all weekends throughout the month of October in the day time hours (before Knott's Scary Farm begins). Guests are encouraged to visit in costumes, go trick-or-treating, and taste the unique Halloween treats that are only offered during the festival. Your favorite Peanuts characters will also be in costume during their usual Meet-and-Greets!

Knott's Spooky Farm does tend to make the weekends in October busy, especially closer to Halloween. We recommend going earlier in the month to avoid the larger crowds that come later. Unlike Knott's Scary Farm, this is an event that's very feasible for the entire family, and there's no extra cost; you can just come in via a regular park ticket or season pass and enjoy the festivities.
Things to Look Forward To:
Trick-or-Treating
Halloween Decor
Special Halloween Treats
Peanuts Character Meet-and-Greets in Costume

Knott's Merry Farm

November 18, 2022 - January 1, 2023
From mid November to the new year, Knott's Berry Farm gets festive with special holiday treats, holiday decor all over the park, special entertainment offerings, and even a craft fair that's perfect for finding those unique gifts to give out! Of all the 2022 Knott's Berry Farm events, this one is expected to bring in the most crowds, but they're more concentrated as it gets closer to Christmas. Thanksgiving weekend is also a pretty popular time during the festival, so we recommend avoiding those dates and going as early as you can.

With the addition of all the additional entertainment and craft vendors, along with the general higher crowd level, we recommend planning to visit the park for at least 2 days in order to take in everything the festival has to offer. That gives you plenty of time to try out all the festive new treats, peruse the craft booths, and ride your favorite rides throughout the park!
Things to Look Forward To:
Special Holiday Treats
Holiday Themed Decor
Santa's Cabin
Craft Fair with Local Craft Vendors
