With two bakeries, a slew tasty restaurants, and snack booths scattered around the park, Knott's Berry Farm offers oodles of delectable desserts to indulge in. From cakes to pie bars to milkshakes and more, there's plenty to appease your sweet tooth during your visit.

Before even entering the theme park, you can grab some tasty treats at the Farm Bakery in the California Marketplace just outside the park. It's perfect if you don't want to deal with the hassle of the crowds or the price of an admission fee.

Inside the park, nearly every restaurant offers some type of dessert option, meaning you're never too far from a sugary delight. While there are dessert-specific booths like the funnel cake stands and the Mix-It-Up ice cream shop, some of the best desserts at Knott's Berry Farm require a little more exploration to discover. Here is our list of our favorite must-try desserts at Knott's Berry Farm in no particular order.

1. Cinnabon Cheese Cake

Location: Prop Shop Pizzeria
Price: $9.00
We're not going to lie: it takes a load of willpower for us to walk by a Cinnabon restaurant and not indulge in one of those gooey, warm treats. Needless to say: we're huge fans. When we discovered this heavenly treat at Prop Shop Pizzeria for the first time, we were hooked. That $9 price tag didn't deter us from trying one of the best desserts we've ever had at Knott's Berry Farm.

Is it a cheesecake? Kind of. Is it a cinnamon bun? Kind of. Is it mind-blowingly delicious? Yes! This is a fairly sweet treat, with even more sweetness added from the cinnamon glaze topping. The pecans add a great crunch without being overtly sweet. The base is soft and airy - like a standard cinnamon bun, while the frosting is thick and has the perfect ratio to bread/cake.

Truly, the only thing wrong with this cake is that it could be a bit bigger for the price tag or it could be a bit cheaper. Still, we keep coming back to this one because it's so delicious!

2. Carrot Cake

Location: Ghost Town Bakery
Price: $4.50
This is one of the more simple desserts at Knott's Berry Farm, but sometimes simple means that it's easier to get right. The Ghost Town Bakery really hits it out of the park with this treat. It's moist, has the perfect frosting to cake ratio, and is a decent value for the size at just $4.50 a slice. The diced pecans and shredded carrots within the cake also add some nice texture. It is a pretty indulgent treat, so it's also great to share!

Although some of the desserts at the Ghost Town Bakery come and go depending on what's in stock, this cake is one that's usually always on the menu. That's great for us, since we'll always be able to enjoy it whenever the craving hits!

3. Boysenberry Mousse Chocolate Cake

Location: Ghost Town Bakery
Price: ??
This pretty treat made its debut during the 2022 Boysenberry Festival earlier this year. It's a personal cake that's not as indulgent as it looks, but is still delicious and satisfying without overloading your sweet tooth. It's a creamy experience, with the sprinkles adding a bit of a crunch. It's also an instagram-worthy dessert!

While this mousse chocolate cake stayed in the bakery case for a little while after the festival, it's been a while since we've seen it back in stock. We're hoping it returns to the park during next year's festival!

4. Cinnamon Monkey Bread

Location: Log Ride Funnel Cake
Price: $10.00
This sweet delight was offered during the Knight's Summer Nights 2022 celebration at Log Ride Funnel Cake. It was a pretty low-key item, with not too much excitement over it, but we're so glad we gave it a try. This is not like your traditional monkey bread that's easy to pull apart. It's more like a filled donut with a thicker bread batter that's topped with boysenberry sauce and caked with powdered sugar. It's just the right amount of sweet, and it will definitely fill you up.

This isn't one of those light desserts you have after a big meal: this cinnamon monkey bread is basically a meal on its own! Since you get 2 for each order, it's perfect to share with your favorite person OR bring home the extra one to enjoy later!

5. Boysenberry Key Lime Tart

Location: Ghost Town Bakery
Price: $6.00
This is another dessert from the 2022 Boysenberry Festival that we're hoping will return to the bakery soon. The boysenberry flavor is light on this treat, but the key lime shines through perfectly. Although not very large, the tart is a sweet yet sour experience that's satisfying and not too heavy or sweet. That creamy key lime texture is so smooth and delicious. If you see this in the bakery case: don't miss out!

6. Boysenberry Pie Bar

Location: Ghost Town Bakery
Price: $6.00
This boysenberry pie bar is yet another tasty treat from the 2022 Boysenberry Festival. This one, however, still shows up at the Ghost Town Bakery from time to time. Though not as indulgent as a pie slice, the streusel crumble topping paired with the boysenberry jam and sweet crust make it a perfect snack or light dessert. We've always been fans of streusal-topped anything, so this dessert is one we pick up whenever we see it. At $6, it's a bit pricey for what it is, but you can always share it!

7. Boysenberry Cake

Location: Ghost Town Bakery
Price: $4.50
Just like the carrot cake, the boysenberry cake is available at the Ghost Town Bakery nearly every day. It's the classic must-try cake, especially for first-time visitors who should try all the boysenberry-flavored items Knott's Berry Farm is known for. It's sweet, it's delicious, and we recommend everyone try it at least once. We wish it had a little more frosting and that the cake would be a bit more moist, however it's still a solid option all around for something you can't find anywhere else!

8. Boysenberry Cheesecake

Location: Ghost Town Bakery
Price: $5.00
This creamy cheesecake delight can be found at the Ghost Town Bakery (like most of the sweets on this list!) almost daily. It's indulgent and sweet, with a hint of tang. The boysenberry topping is pretty strong but pairs well with the richness of the cheesecake. The boysenberry flavor is just on top, not mixed in, so you're able to choose how much boysenberry you want with each bite. At $5, it's also a decent value compared to most other treats in the bakery case at Ghost Town Bakery.

9. Boysenberry Milkshake

Location: Coaster's Diner
Price: $8.25
The dessert of choice at Coaster's Diner is definitely the milkshake, but our favorite milkshake is their boysenberry milkshake! This is a classic shake with a boysenberry touch that's rich and creamy and perfect for those hot California days (so almost every day). The boysenberry flavor is light but evident. The milkshake itself is sized large enough to share without being overwhelming. The price is a bit high though, at $8.25, which is $0.75 more than the classic milkshake flavors. Still, this is a great dessert to try, especially if you're visiting for the first time.

10. Tiramisu Cake

Location: Prop Shop Pizzeria
Price: $6.00
At $6.00 per slice, this tiramisu cake is one of the better values on this list. It's not particularly sweet. It's mostly creamy and spongey with a hint of coffee flavor that's not too overwhelming. It's one of those desserts that's light on the stomach after a big meal, so it's perfect for its location at Prop Shop Pizzeria. For those without an overactive sweet tooth, this is our recommendation for a treat at Knott's Berry Farm!

11. Banana Split Funnel Cake

Location: Ghost Town Grub
Price: $16.00
If you need to feed a crew and you're not sure what to get, you could always try... everything. Yes, we said everything. This banana split funnel cake comes with bananas, pineapples, strawberries, whipped cream, and soft serve vanilla ice cream. The flavor pairings are unique enough for you to be able to feel a bit more adventurous, yet placed separately enough that those who don't like certain ingredients can mostly avoid them while enjoying the rest of the funnel cake.

This funnel cake is also massive, like most funnel cakes at Knott's Berry Farm. The excessive toppings make it a bit difficult to eat without making a mess, but also make it perfect for a family or group of 3-5 friends (same thing though, right?). This dessert made its debut during the 2022 Knott's Summer Nights events, so it may not always be available on the menu.

12. Limoncello Cookie

Location: Prop Shop Pizzeria
Price: $6.00
Is $6.00 for a single cookie a bit insane? Yes, yes it is. Should you still try this tasty limoncello cookie from the Prop Ship Pizzeria? Yes, yes you should! This dessert isn't overly sweet, but has a great lemon flavor in the icing that we adore. The cookie itself isn't very large, and we wish they would put more of that delicious icing, but it's still a tasty treat all around and we recommend trying it once if you're a fan of lemon-flavored desserts.

13. Snoopy Cookie

Location: Ghost Town Bakery
Price: $6.00
This adorable giant Snoopy head cookie is a classic treat at Knott's Berry Farm. If you're a fan of Snoopy or the Peanuts in general, this is a must-try dessert. During holiday months, they even dress the cookie up to give Snoopy a Santa hat or some other accessory that's relevant to the holiday!

Now is the cookie itself good? It's okay. The frosting to cookie ratio is perfect, but neither the frosting nor the cookie are amazing. It's tasty though, and kids will love it nonetheless. It's not too sweet, a little dry, and definitely shareable, so keep that in mind.

14. Boysenberry Cobbler w/Ice Cream

Location: Ghost Town Grill
Price: ??
We've seen this cobbler come and go on the menu at Ghost Town Grill. It's one of our favorite desserts at the restaurant, so we definitely recommend trying it if you ever see it available while you're visiting. You can order the cobbler without the ice cream, but it's a little dry, so we recommend getting the ice cream for some much-needed moisture. Despite its dryness, the cobbler is sweet and filled with boysenberry flavor. It's also huge, so you'll want a friend or two to share with.
