Disney California Adventure is part of the Disneyland Resort and sits just across from Disneyland. The park features a wide range of attractions, entertainment, and dining options, inspired by the diverse regions of California and the magic of Disney. The park feels like an ode to California culture, with lands like Grizzly Peak, that celebrate the natural wonders of the state, to lands to Pacific Pier, which makes you feel like you're actually enjoying a day on a California pier.

Disney California Adventure's attractions are much more thrilling compared to its neighboring sister park. One of the most popular is the thrilling Incredicoaster, located in Pixar Pier. This high-speed roller coaster takes you on a wild ride through the land, featuring twists, turns, and exciting drops. Another fan favorite is Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!. This intense, free-falling experience takes you on a mission to rescue the Guardians from the clutches of The Collector. Radiator Springs Racers is another must-ride attraction in Cars Land. This high-speed race takes you through the beautiful landscape of Radiator Springs, with a surprise ending that will leave you smiling.

The theme park also features a myriad of quirky and unique food options, from creative hot dogs at Award Wieners, to giant chicken sandwiches at Pym Test Kitchen, to California-inspired dishes served by the water at Lamplight Lounge, there's something for everyone to enjoy. DCA is also home to the annual Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, which takes place every spring at the park. The park comes alive with lively musical performances and a plethora of delicious new dishes for visitors to sample.

From thrilling rides and interactive shows to delicious food and drinks, Disney California Adventure has something for everyone. With its blend of California culture and Disney magic, the park offers a unique and unforgettable experience for guests of all ages.

Marvel Fans
With the addition of Avengers Campus, this park is a MUST-DO for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The park also offers more mature rides and themes than Disneyland, so it's better suited for an older audience who can appreciate these details.

$250 USD
(per day, based on a 2 day trip)
Although DCA can be done in a single day, we recommend two to really be able to soak in all it has to offer. Like most Disney parks, most of the cost of your day is going to be the ticket. Food is reasonably priced, for a theme park. However, merchandise is fairly expensive, and additional costs like Genie+ or Lightning Lane Passes (recommended for busy days) will also eat a big chunk of your budget.

Sep - Oct
The late winter season generally means lower crowds and slightly colder weather. You can get more done at the park and be able to enjoy it with less stress. The Food & Wine Festival also usually begins in early March, before the summer crowds start to arrive. The beginning of the school year is also a great time to visit, since there will be less local kids at the park. The Halloween event is held at this time and well worth the extra ticket price to experience.
